2025 Winter Recital - Dec. 5th & 6th
Location: Watson School of Music and the Arts - 300 Parker Ln, St James 65559

We are delighted to invite all of our students, families, and friends to celebrate the hard work and progress made this semester with Watson School of Music & Arts' Winter Recitals! Explore details for attendance and student participation below!

Friday, December 5 
6:30 PM – 7:30 PM
Saturday, December 6
9:30 AM – 10:30 AM
11:00 PM – 12:00 PM
​12:30 PM - 1:30 PM

2:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Student Arrival Time
​Arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled hour
Performance Attire: Smart Casual
Boys:
Dress pants, black jeans, or khakis; dress shoes; and a collared dress shirt or polo.
​Girls:
Dress slacks, black jeans, or a skirt/dress that reaches the knee or longer; dress flats; and a blouse.
Is there a fee?
There is no registration or attendance fee for the recital!
Where to Find Your Order in the Performance
A couple of weeks before the recital, students and account managers will receive an invitation on Opus1. Once accepted, you’ll see the event in your upcoming schedule, including your assigned time
slot. Clicking on the event will show your order in the performance.

2025 Winter Concert - Dec. 8th
Location: Recklein Auditorium - ​304 N Smith St, Cuba, MO 65453

Join us for a special evening of music as students from our Homeschool Music Program take the stage for our annual Winter Concert! This event features group performances that showcase the collaboration, skill, and hard work students have put into their music this semester.

The Winter Concert is open to the public, and we warmly welcome family, friends, and community members to attend and support our young musicians. Come enjoy a wonderful celebration of music and the progress our students have made!
What to expect
Friends and family will remain in the auditorium during the concert while students will wait backstage for their piece. A teacher will be present to guide each group and help them prepare when it’s their turn to perform.
Student Arrival Time
Students should arrive 15-30 minutes before the start of the event.
Performance Attire
Elementary & Beginning Classes:
White dress top & black dress bottoms (pants or skirts)

Concert Band, Jazz Band, Secondary Choir, STOMP, Chamber:
All black (black top and black bottoms or an all-black dress)

Additional Guidelines:
  • Skirts and dresses must be below knee length
  • Black dress shoes (no black tennis shoes)
  • Black socks
  • Black hair accessories if needed
  • Jewelry in any metal color is fine

Borrow Clothing at WSMA
We have a selection of black and white dress clothes available for students to borrow if needed. These items will be out and ready for parents to look through starting Monday, November 24th.

Please note: We do not have shoes or socks, so families will need to provide those items.
Is there a Fee? 
There is no registration or attendance fee.
