Finding the right extracurricular for your homeschooled child can be a challenge, especially when you have multiple children with diverse interests. Our Homeschool Music Program is designed to make music education accessible and enjoyable for the whole family, helping each child discover the instrument they truly connect with.
How Our Program Works
We believe that a strong musical foundation begins with engaging experiences. Here's a look at how your child will progress through our program:
Getting Started: These are our entry level classes for the total beginner:
As Students Progress: Once students have a solid grasp of foundational skills, they'll graduate to more advanced ensembles and instruments:

- Elementary Choir: Focuses on vocal development, ear training, and rhythm.
- Recorder: Introduces basic music theory, ear training, and instrument technique.
- Beginning Violin: Develops fundamental string techniques, ear training, and musicality.
As Students Progress: Once students have a solid grasp of foundational skills, they'll graduate to more advanced ensembles and instruments:
- Beginning Band: Explore a variety of wind, brass and percussion instruments.
- Band Technique: Dives deeper into the instruments introduced in Beginning Band and explores further into scales, musicality, and locking in as a band.
- Intro to Chamber: Begin to experience playing in small instrumental groups that include violin, viola, and cello.
Moving into Our Advanced Classes: Once students have mastered the techniques and concepts from our intermediate classes, they will move into our most advanced classes:
- Chamber: In this advanced strings class, violin, viola, cello, and double bass students will collaborate, developing their skills as they form a truly breathtaking ensemble.
- Concert Band: Unleash the full spectrum of symphonic band sound! This class brings together brass, woodwind, and percussion to form a dynamic ensemble that delivers a truly attention-grabbing performance.
- Jazz Band: Jump into the infectious rhythms of jazz! In this ensemble, we explore both timeless and modern jazz charts, creating a syncopated groove that's guaranteed to get your feet tapping. It's an exciting and rewarding experience you won't want to miss!
- Secondary Choir: Join our Secondary Choir and explore the rich world of 4-part harmony. You'll develop your vocal skills and contribute to creating an awe-inspiring sound in this dynamic, large-group setting.
